Hi Randy
Sounds like the same book... "History of Bristol, Pennsylvania", Doron Green, 1911 (He also wrote in 1938 "History of Old Homes on Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pennsylvania".
--Doron is in one of the trees I recently sent here..
--Those 2 books were handed down in the family (to me), and are signed by Doron Green
--Again, I am trying to tie in my gr-grandmother Mary Anna Booz (b. 1873) (married Albert Pepper in 1897) to Clotilda; Clotilda Green Booz had dau "May" b. 1873 - May is on the 1880 census. My hunch is Clotilda and Joseph H Booz are parents, but it's not proved yet...
--Some mysteries: in the 1938 book, is written: "Mae Pepper, given to me by Doran Green" (if Mae/May/Mary Anna is dau of Clotilda and Jos H Booz, she is cousin to Doron);
--in one of the books is a photograph of a man, from W. H. Hay & Co. (Bristol PA) and on the back (--appears-- to be in the same handwriting as the "Mae Pepper" inscription above) is written "Dad's father" - if she is dau of Clotilda, etc then this would be a picture of Joseph P. Booz, 1811-1852. ---more -- but maybe not - a Bristol book (Lower Bucks County By Andrew Mark Herman)
says W.H.Hay and Co. was in business in 1908 (on Radcliffe St.), I'm not sure if they were in business in 1852....
--more mysteries - on a piece of paper, written in pencil is the following: "John Green .. Elizabeth .. died May 22 1876 an 78 years" (I think dates refer to Elizabeth)
--also "John Green born 1796 died 1866"
--also "Kate & Carry (or is it Harry?) Green ... Grandfather"
Thanks
Frank
