I can't be absolutely certain but think that Thomas Wenham who married Eleanor Boots came originally from Northiam, Sussex. It does appear that they moved there after their marriage, and I have the following for their family...

Susan or Susannah daug. of Thomas/Eleanor, born about 1786, married William ROOTS at Northiam c. 1805.
Eleanor daug. of Thomas/Eleanor, bapt. Northiam 22nd March, 1788.
Amy daug. of Thomas/Eleanor, born abt. 1790 at Northiam.

Hope I am not "doubling up" on information you already have.

My earliest known Wenham ancestors were John & Mary Wenham of Brede who were living in Ewhurst about the time of Thomas's marriage to Eleanor.

We don't have Boots marrying Wenham at this stage I'm sorry.
Thomas married 1716 Ninfield, Sussex to Elizabeth KEYS.
We don't have many Ranger, only Symon and Katherin and family at Chalvington, Sussex. Symon and Katherin married 1568 at Chalvington and had the children there also.One of their daughters, Elizabeth, married Robert Russell 1595 at Chalvington. As yet, we don't know the marriages for the other children.
How far back are you with Ranger and were they around Chalvington?

I have found Ann Wenham marrying James Boots 27/10/1634. However, I have found Mary Ranger marrying JAMES Boots [born 2/2/1724] on 25/12/1753.

Hi - do you know any more details on the Mary Ranger you mention ? I have a Mary in my tree that would match the dates and I have her family - but not her spouse !
