My name is Kevin Boone My family too is from this area, McDaniels, Mintz, Roseboro, Clinton etc. seem to be slim pickins in Sampson county. I ve been told that the courthouse burned down taking along with it vital records for the early 1900s (not exact on the year). I am in contact with some Boone's there who knew my dad as boy in 1934 and later and his mother until they moved north to Newburgh, NY.
