Jeremiah Boone Born 02/29/1760

Jeremiah Boone was born in PA 02/29/1760, married Joyce Nevel born 05/14/1768 in VA. They were married in KY on 05/09/1787. I have an old family tree which says Jeremiah's father was Solomon Boone and a newer family tree which says his father was Josiah Boone, brother to Squire Boone. Can anyone give me direction which is correct?
