my family hailed form lyons ny. then migrated to michigan for the free land deals in the 1830's. they cleared the land and sold property. levi bonney, his son barnabus, then my grandfather orris bonney. there were quite a few brothers and sisters. i'm not aware of the canadian connection.

i'm not familiar with a robert bonney; although it would be interesting to know locations/what states your family has resided. any other family member names. any dates or relatives that married into family.

Ida mae was married to a Charles A. Gallicher/Gallagher. Her parents were George C. Bonney And Malinda Harding. George was born in Ohio and married Malinda in Wisconsin.They then moved to Washington state. George's father was Alfred Bonney

Billy the Kid's real name was not William Bonney. He adopted the name after spending some time with a family by the name of Bonney

You cannot know the feelings that went through me when I saw your interest on the bulletin board. Apparently we are related through Walter Rosinda. My interest is in the Bonney side. Walter would be my great, great, grandfather. I have been trying for several years to find some Bonneys and have found nothing. Well, a bit, but not much. If I figure it correctly, Frank Bonney, son of Walter Rosinda was my grandmothers father on my mother's side. I have been told my grandmother was Frank's 25th child. (He had two wives. Twelve children from wife number one and thirteen from wife number two. He was in his eighties when my grandmother was born. She married my grandfather when she was 13 1/2. I would be interested in any information
on a Prentice Franklin Bonney who was
born in NY in 1805. He moved to Missouri,
which is where my family is from, but that's
as far back as our research has gone. His
father may have been Peter Clay Bonney.
I'm also interested in Billy the Kid, so
