Hello, My name is Rita Senff Kern. My mom was Elizabeth Ann Bonner Senff. Her mom was Adeline "Addie" Bonner. Mathias Bonner and Eva Lechner were her mother and father. They were my great grandparents. His father, also Mathias Bonner (born in 1805) was my 2nd great grandfather and he was married to Eve Thimme. He was born in Poland from what I've been able to gather. The Mathias Bonner born in 1838--I haven't been able to fully document his birthplace. I have the following information on my family tree: Preußen or Prussia, Poland Poland/Prussia or Germany ? . Since the boundaries have changed so many times over the years over there and the names have changed, the only
way I think we can get accurate information is to go back and search current and old maps, working backward from current to the oldest from those days. I haven't had time to work on that yet, as I am working on 4 family histories at one time.
