He came to the city in the 40's was an active man running or a planning mill. Was a signal man in one of the signal towers of the Central Road. His son Oscar worked as a janitor at the Court house".

The William Bunnell Family Research has been very interesting. I have reviewed the US Census records and I was looking to make a deeper connection since there are so many John Bonnell's. And this John Bonnell came to WI in 1840, where is suggested father William S. Bonnell and brother came in 1856. Maybe from your experience you can help me validate the census or other.

I have obtained the uncertified death certificate for John Bonnell from Fond du Lac WI. And my sister has obtained a copy of a letter from former relative of John Bonnell that confirms William S. Bonnell was his father. This is even more insightful than lining up the census. Especially since there are so many John Bonnell's.

What is your connection to John Bonnell? My husband's great great grandfather was one of his brothers. (William Harrison Bonnell 1818-1873)
