Knowing only 10 of my relatives in the Bonecutter family I was looking for an extenstion to the family. My father is George T. Bonecutter and his father (my grandpa) is George C. Bonecutter.

I am doing some research for a fellow who had a Stepfather named George Bonecutter that died Oct.1st,1992 in Huntington WVa. My friends mother was Rosa Bonecutter(Elmore) who died in 1981

Is it Bone or Bon????

I just happened to be talking to a friend one day about Ancestry.com and my family, before the day was up she had found this site. I am the daughter of William Jesse Boncutter-- No e was in our name! I know that you will say I must be mistaken. The strange thing is that half the family go with the e the other half without the e. Bone or Bon has been the talk of contoversy at many a family reunion!

Bonecutter or Boncutter

As I understand it, there are several variations to the name: Bonecutter, Boncutter, Buncutter, etc.
