Hello.....I did have information on John Bond of Beaufort Co and this is not the same one that was born in England. If memory serves me corrctly he was either the second or third generation of Bond to be already established in the US. This particular John Bond migrated from the Northern regions, and established himself in NC. There were 3 or 4 John Bond's living in the household at that time, Col. John Bond, an uncle or 2nd cousin, (One that was older than him) a nephew, and a son named John Bond. Currently I am trying to recollect all this information and start over. I will be travelling to Nottingham by the year's end and will be researching and varifying the BOND orgin.
