My grandfather, Judson Bolt of Walker County Georgia, was the son of John W Bolt born 1845 in Chattooga or Walker County Ga. His father was Lewis Bolt, Mother was Sarah Tredaway. There is no verification of Lewis Bolt's parentage altho rumor has it he is the son of Isham Bolt who is the son of Abraham. All Walker County records were burned in a fire around 1855 and Ga doesn't have birth records prior to 1919. I am hoping there is someone out there who has a personal knowledge of this ancestry line or family records which could confirm the relationship. John W. Bolt also had a sister named Martha with the same parents. Let me know if you can help.
