I am trying to find information about the BOLSTER family from England. Isaac Bolster was convicted in the Monmouth Rebellion in 1685 and transported to "West Indies or America". He did not appear in America until 1715. I have heard of a village in Yorkshire called Bolsterstone. Could this be the origen of the name? Also a friend who lives in West Yorkshire says there are BOLSTERS in his phone book. Isaac also had a brother Sampson who was an innkeeper. Any help or information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much for your help.
