Looking for more info on the Emerson family connected to Walter D. Emerson and his sister Maddie, who are understood to have been the children of C. C. Emerson and Rachel Andrews in Nevada County AR. Walter & Maddie were born about 1886-1888. Their parents died when the children were young, so Walter & Maddie were raised by their uncle Jim Andrews at Redland Township, Nevada County AR 6 miles east of Prescott AR).

The Andrews lived across the road from the McLellands, and when Maddie was grown, she became the wife (2nd) of George Wells McLelland. Walter married Fannie Bolls (b 1890, d/o Jack & Martha Bolls of Redland).
