I think that Jozefa Nadrowski (born 15 July 1886) was my grandfather's sister. I did not know who, if anyone in the family besides him, immigrated. Both Josef and Jozefa Bojanowski/a were godparents to CZERMINSKI children (my grandmother’s aunt and uncle) but I have no additional information about the Bojanowski line. There was an awful lot of inbreeding going on from what I have seen. Villages are small and everyone is probably related somehow to everyone else. The Czerminskis, Nadrowskis, Bojanowski’s etc were from the oldest part of historical Poland (don’t know if you knew that). The baptisms took place in Zuki, Kurowo Parish. I was there last year. I know there was family in New York and New Jersey, and I have a lot more names but no contacts. I have especially had trouble tracing the Czerminskis, Smolinskis, and Lukowskis who were in that area for awhile at least. Do you know anything about Jozefa’s family? Anything that might help us confirm that it was the same person (although it seems very likely- Nadrowski is not a common name here or in Poland)? You can contact me directly at
