Hello;

I am searching for information on Bohan families in Orange County, VA in the 1780's.

My 5th great grandmother is Ann Bohan who married Jesse Thornton on 22 July 1784 in Orange Co. VA. They had one child - William Bohan Thornton and then Jesse died.

The 1782 Orange Co. Heads of Household listing shows three Bohan names in the same area as my Thornton's - Benjamin Bohan, Benjamin Bohan, Junr. and John Bohan.

Does anyone have any information on these three Bohan families that could tie my Ann to one of them?
