Hello Alison,
Most of my family are deceased and I know very little as ther has beeen alot kept in the closet from me in particular, as i am the baby in the family. The family that still remain are very tight lipped and distant.
I know that there are Townsends, Collins, Price is my mothers maiden name and the collins and Towsends are from this side. Francis was my motheres name also but she had it changed by Deed Pole as she couldn't stand being Known as Francis Merle. Can't say I blame her. My father Byron John Boag died in 1972 of doctor negligence in an appendics operation and mum became a drug addict after this she died in 1986 of lung cancer I was 17 so hence all the secrets. I don't even know what nationality I am. It would be nice to find out. Thanks for your response. Gena Louise Boag.

George Townsend Boag was a resident of Madras now called Chennai and was the District grandmaster of the District Grand Lodge of Madras he was the first Master of EC 4998 Lodge Archibald campbell of which i am a member and Past master. I would love to have a photograph of him as well as more information about him. He has a road named after him in Madras, he was also the acting Governor of theState of Orissa when he was in India.

Hello Gena,

This thread is old but I saw this message and I figured you are a relative of mine so I'd see if you are still watching the board.

My name is Cassandra Shaw, my mother is Rhelma Ann Shaw (nee Boag) her sister was Jean May (murray nee boag). Their parents (my grandparents from Nimbin) were Edward Lorrie Boag and Thelma Boag (nee Lattimer).

I think your father Byron was my mother's cousin. Mother is still alive and I can ask any questions of her if you like.
