Hi Maureen
Saw your response to Lewis Boadle and wondered if you have discovered any information on Margaret Boadle born Cleator 1794 (daughter of Jacob Boadle and his wife Elizabeth {Dolly}) since I last had contact with you.

Hello Nora
I have a record of Jacob and Betty Boadle and the christenings of their five children including Margaret in 1794. This snippet of information came from a John Boadle with Liverpool connections. However it isn't part of a family tree. The only Jacob on the tree was born 1747 the son of Benjamin and Mary Boadle m.1742 in St Bees.
Jacob married Mary Chambers and they had seven children but no Margaret.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help but do keep in touch as there is a lot of interest in the Boadle clan!
Best wishes
Maureen

Hello again
Just found anothet snippet - a Margaret Boadle married a John Jackson at St Nicholas Church, Whitehaven (fairly close to Cleator) on 6th December 1819. The dates fit so it could be a lead.

A friend found a correspondence on this board between a David Boadle and a Maureen Fisher about the Boadle family. Unfortunately it was in 2003. This is a different David Boadle. I have quite a lot of info on the Cumbria Boadles, including marrying into the Chambers family, if anyone is still interested.
