Currently 254 trees list Benjamin Bly of Voluntown as born in Drayton England in 1736.
He was born in 1737 or 38 according to his headstone and Connecticut death index.
The 1736 baptism in England has produced a a widespread error. The Buckinghamshire Bly is not related to the Voluntown Bly.
The Drayton Parslow Buckinghamshire Parish record, the original source document for his baptism also lists:
His marriage to Elizabeth Caves on Aug 3, 1772 and his occupation "miller"
His death in Drayton England in 1811. and occupation "Miller"
PLEASE NOTE: The ancestry.com site provo index does not have Drayton full information. You need to view the full book on archive.org. The name is spelled Bly, Bligh, and Blygh.

A second record proving this Bly never came to America is the Buckinghamshire Posse Comitatus listing Benjamin and his brother Thomas, sons of the miller, residents of Drayton Parslow in 1798.
