It's been almost three years since your post - but I REALLY REALLY hope you are still active. I'm at a dead end with James Blount and Ida Simpson. They were my gg grandparents and I've filled in almost all my blanks before and after them - but have run into too many dead ends to count at least with their children. You mentioned Pearl as one child. They had at least one other: my g grandfather: William Edgar Blount (I've found two different birthdates for him Apr 29, 1886 and Jul 27, 1934 in two different counties/states; Christian Co., Illinois and Jackson Co., Florida. The majority of the continuing generations are from the Marianna and Sneads, Jackson Co., Florida area - but darn it if I'm just chasing my tail here.

I have James M. Blount b. 1871 in Walton Florida and died in Jackson Co., Florida. I show Ida Simpson b. 1875 in Florida. The EGS site lists three children to James and Ida: Arthur Blount b. Jun 1893, Edgar (I'm pretty sure his first name is William and middle name is Edgar) b. Sept 1895, and Mattie Lou b. Feb 1898 all in Jackson Co., Florida.
