I am looking for information on Mary Talbot who had Amelia Talbot
witness the birth of her son, John Pollard in Kerry, Ireland. I
have found a Thomas Talbot m. Amelia Blennerhassett in 1849, Aghadoe,
Kerry. I cannot find out if they had a daughter, Mary. Anyone
know of this family?

I also have been researching the Blennerhassetts. Amelia was born 8/2/1825 Farranfore, Kerry, Ireland to Thomas Blennerhassett and Susan Hill. She was one of nine children (including My great-great grandfather, Arthur Thomas Blennerhassett. So Amelia was his sister. Sorry, Don't know about any children she had. Good luck!

Mary Talbot married Edward Pollard and immigrated to Maryland.
Their son John Pollard, born in 1652, died in 1702, married Sarah
Billingsley. I am a descendant of this John Pollard and his mother
Mary Talbot. Now, I can't get to her parents. Who was Amelia and
who are the Blennerhassett's?

Thanks,

Jean Talbot,
There is a Thomas Talbot Mann, I believe of the line of Richard Mann(1620) or his brother? William (1607) of Scituate, MA - only a few generations back (about 1450) there is another William Mann who married a Frances Blaverhasset. In the earlier line of her Grandfather? a John Blav (abt 1481 m: Jane Tyndale) are Blaverhassets with liberally "interchanged" names spelled Blennerhassett, back and forth from generation to generation. Some of these no doubt sent "2nd sons" to Ireland where there are many Blennerhassetts, one of whom built the Blaverhasset Castle in the USA in the 1800's - now a Hotel by that name in the old castle.
Have fun following this one!

Amelia is my GG Grandmother. I only have records of one child, my G Grandfather, Boyle Talbot of Aghacurreen, Killarney. There may be further records available and I do have a long lineage for Blennerhassetts from Ameila back 6 generations when it kicks off into the Denny line.

If you have subsequently found any further info I'd be very interested to see it.
