My family is from Wallins Creek area of Harlan Co. My grandparents were Carter W. Blanton who was married to Sallye Anne (Hensley )Blanton. Carters parents were Maggie (Shutts) Blanton and his father my great grand dad was Andrew Jackson Blanton.
My dad was Walker Jackson Blanton and he had a brother Dale Blanton both deceased. My uncle Donald Lee Blanton and my aunt Dayne Blanton Baldwin still live and reside in Rockcastle Co. (KY).
