Maryanne Smith was born in North Carolina in 1828 and in 1846 she married Edward K Blanton. They lived in Chimney Rock, NC in the 1850 US Census and had three children (Victoria, John Graves, and Amelia). The family moved west and eventually settled in Kansas. Maryanne on the 1880 US Census shows herself, and both of her parents as being born in North Carolina. I am hoping to find her parents.
