Darlene Blankenship

Darlene Blankenship, 42, of Rowe, died Nov. 7 in a Grundy hospital.

Born Nov. 28, 1963 in Manassas, she was a daughter of Thelma Lockhart Blankenship of Rowe and the late Willard Blankenship.

She had spent her early life in Manassas prior to moving to Buchanan County. She was an employee of Data Services of America in Vansant.

Additional survivors: brothers, James Blankenship of Rowe, David Blankenship of Manassas; special friend, Carl Adkins of Swords Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ancil Childress officiating.

Interment followed in the Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon.
