Joseph H. Blank

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Joseph Henry Blank, 77, of Myersville, died Friday, April 4, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.

Born June 24, 1919, in Frederick County, Md., he was the son of the late Charles and Emma Miss Blank.

He was employed by Roper-Eastern Products. He had also worked with Avis Rental Car; H.L. Mills Service Station; D.A. Stickell & Sons and Statton Furniture during World War II.

He was a member of Greenbriar Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Miller Paden Blank; one daughter, Judy Davis of Oak Hill, W.Va.; one son, John Paden of Springfield, Va.; one sister, Lottie Mobley of Frederick; one grandson; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Smith and Nora Korrell and two brothers, Harold Blank and Charles Blank.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. David L. Coblentz will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
