On Mr. Blank's death certificate, it lists his father as Fred Blank, his mother as Rachael (no last name). Both parents born in Germany, as was August himself.DOB was given as 6 Mar 1854.

I couldn't find an obit for Ellen, but she is buried beside August in the Massillon Cemetery.

Info given by Mrs. F.C.French.

The brief info I have on William Blank is in the Massillon Independent from 20 Nov 1916:
Canal Fulton, Nov. 20- The funeral of William Blank, who died Wednesday morning, was held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence, the Rev. Ellen Halderbaum, of Massillon, officiating. Interment was made in the Canal Fulton cemetery. (I would presume this is the Union Cemetery, not the Catholic cemetery).

I hope this is of help, or interest to some of you.
