Hi, Lisa
I'm reasonably certain I located Ann's mother through census records - a widow at the time - but nothing conclusive on her father. Tell me more about what you've tried, and what you know about the Blanchard/Blanchett connection. I believe if we brainstorm/speculate together, and compare family lore we might make additional progress (that's why I suggested we take it offline). Do you have any leads on any other collateral families? and, what's especially interesting to me, do you have any insight into William Henry's family and how it was our branch ended up in Texas?
In the meantime, I'll dig out some old notes (paper copies unfortunately) and will try to have them by the time I next hear from you.
