It's been a while since I've been able to doing any research, but I'm able to go on again. I'm still looking for information on GEORGE BLAKESLEE b. c.1850 ? He married MARY WATSON . One child that I know about, JOHN HENRY BLAKESLEE, was b. 8 Dec. 1872. I have not been able to find any information on George.

This family is not listed on any census I could find for 1880 in PA. The first census I find John Henry Blakeslee on is the 1900 census, already married. John Henry Blakeslee stated his father was born in PA and his mother in NJ, and if naming customs are correct, Mary may have been the daughter of Hugh Watson.

First born sons of John Henry Blakeslee were George W. and Hugh Blakeslee.) Other sons were Harry, Daniel, Leonard, Albert, or Charles, so these children could also have been brothers of John Henry Blakeslee (?)

I have been at a standstill on George Blakeslee for years and would be forever grateful if someone could help me break my brick wall.
