I am a descendant of the Blakeslees from binghampton NY - Nelson Blakeslee moved from Binghamptom to Woodstock Illinois in about 1845. Nelson had several children including sons Thomas (my greatgrandfather) and Frank. Thomas became a doctor during the civil war and enlisted with Illinois regiment.
