I can't see a Blackwell born ca 1755 marrying an older lady born ca 1734, so could anybody please help me find documentation of this particular lady marrying ANY Blackwell? I'm using the "naming tradition" and known individuals listed at Ancestry.com and it looks likely to me that that particular James Blackwell more likely married a Tyler individual (Minerva? Malinda?)and HIS FATHER more likely married a Scarborough/Scarberry individual. If there was a Sarah Elizabeth Price married to a Blackwell, is it possible she was a second wife?
Yes, I'm just guessing, but also attempting to use naming-tradition logic (from when certain unusual names -- for example Zachariah or Minerva -- showed up in the Blackwell family lineage) to determine who the mystery individuals likely were.
