I'm trying to locate ancesters who lived in Columbia, GA mid 1800's. They would be my great-great grandparents. James G. Blackstone, married to Eliza Jane Crawford. Parents to my great-grandmother Sarah Jane Blackstone,B: 23-Oct-1871 Columbia, GA; D: Augusta, GA. Married to David Young Sprouse B: 15-Apr-1861 D: 6-Oct-1921. Sarah Jane was believed to be of American Indian decend, Whose mother may have been Indian left behind during the "Trail of Tears". Sarah Jane Sprouse B: 3-Feb-1906 Burke, GA; D: 29-Jl-1964 was one of thridteen children born to Sarah Jane Blackstone. My g-grandmother was rosa blackstone, who was married to william john luther cliett. Her father was James Wade Hampton Blackstone. I have other info available.

All I have is what what on my original message.
The Blackstone line I'm looking for I believe
lived in Georgia, or even possibly N. Carolina
And that Eliza Jane Crawford, may have been full
blooded Cherokee. Who may have stayed behind during
the "Trail of Tears". I have no more to go on about
James G. Blackstone, No dates, believe the time period

My grandfather was
Simeon walter blackstone of columbia county. Buried in grovetown. My father was born there and is now buried in Westover cematary in Augusta. Info that I have indicates that my grandfather was one of four children by James wade hampton Blackstone and Mary Bosworth, his second wife.

Would appreciate any info you might have regarding the family.
