My great grandfather was Jeremaih Blackstone from Baltimore.
I have been able to find him and his frist wife, Sophia Hoskins living in Maryland in 1870 or 80 census. He later moved to New Orleans and married his second wife, Medorah(Dora) Tucker. They had several children,William (my grandfather), John Thomas, David, Mary Jane Francis, Charles, Jerry, Jr, Delia, Caroline, James and Edna. He also served in the navy and is buried in a national cemetary right outside New Orleans. Hope we've made a connection.
