I am so hoping you still look at this forum. My husband is the gt gt gt grandson of Margaret A Blackmore b ABT 1832. I have been searching for nearly 30 yrs for any history for the family tree, to no avail! By a little bit of family record I have, she was born in Sumner Co., TN. Her husband was James Alexander Hodges.b 7 Feb 1828 in TN.
I'm wondering if Margaret might of been born in England before coming to the US. How could I find out when it appears there are no others searching for history of this family.
Don't want to burden you with more work, but if you give me some ideas, really appreciate it. I'm 78 yrs old and health not so good, hoping I can find her parents names, siblings names etc. Thanking you so much in advance.
