I am researching my mothers side of the family the Trend family.

My Gt Grandfather Frederick Trend's second partner was Susan Jane Blackler b 1866 Devonport. They had two children together Susie b 1900 and Freda b 1904 both in Devonport. I cannot find a marriage for them. Freds first wife died in 1907. She is with another partner in the 1901 census.

Just looking thru ancestry I believe Susan Jane is the daughter of Samuel Blackler and Susan Searle. I also think she was married to Samuel Clissold and had a son also Samuel in 1891 . Sam Clissold sen died in 1898 .

By 1901 Susan is living with Frederick Trend and is mother to his family of four plus their own Susie. Sam jnr is with his Grandparents.

Is anyone researching this family and can confirm the above?
