Carl D. Blackburn, 63, of Malta, Ohio passed away at 5:50 a.m. November 25, 2014 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio.

He was born August 6, 1951 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Robert Blackburn and Ada Nelson Blackburn.
He was retired from the Laborers Union in Marietta, Ohio

He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Hardbarger Blackburn whom he married June 20, 1970; daughters, Angela Kay Blackburn of Grove City, Ohio and Maggie Blackburn of Malta; son, Casey (Heather) Ray Blackburn of Granville, Ohio; one grandaughter, Isabella Blackburn; one sister, Linda Blackburn of Malta, OH.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and James Blackburn. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at the funeral home with Sam Elliott officiating

. He will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery.
