Mary blackburn was born in England about 1792, going by age and date of her death from her headstone. She first married a Thomas Mason in 1811 England(Yorkshire)They had a daughter Harriet in 1818 and a son James. Harriet's birth was Yorkshire also. After Thomas died she married a John Tranmer in 1826, Northamptonshire, England. They had Thomas 1827, Yorkshire birth and William Blackburn Tranmer 1831. John Mary and the children left England for the US about 1830(Harriet's obituary stated she was a young girl of 12 when she arrived in America with her mother stepfather and brothers). The first time I find them on a US Census is 1850 in NY.....They lived majority of their lives in Sag Harbor where Mary died in 1864. I have headstone photos of her and her childrens.....I want to know who her parents were and maybe find someone with more info on her Tranmer husband since it is of that marriage I am alive and kicking due to.....
