My fiance's cousin Todd has a copy of the paperwork for the Blacet family's ride over on a ship. They all came from France. He's got it up on his wall at home and i would be happy to talk him into either bringing it over or maybe submitting to this message board if someone would like me to. really the only thing i know so far about his immediate family are that he has a sister named Jody, sister Becky, brother Paul and his fathers name is Lester. write back if you are interested. thanks.

I am very interested in the information you have on Blacets in Illinois. Our ancestors came from France to the Madison County, IL area. I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Amy

Yes it is true, I had a copy of the original document on my wall. Our family came from Orleans france by a sea company called J Barbe and Havre either 1818 or 1897. I cannot remember which.
My sister has the original passage slip that shows 9 of our ancestors crossed the ocean at the time but the youngest boy had perished in the Journey. I am not sure if I can get a photocopy but i can have the names of the Blacets listed and the relevant documentation listed.
