I have information on Blacets back to about 1850. Are you looking for Ida, whose father was Ernest Blacet? I am very interested in exchanging information with you.

Hello Martha,

My g-g-grandfathers were Joseph Edouard Blacet and Francis Blacet, who immigrated to the United State in the 1850s. I would be interested in exchanging information with you about this family. Please e-mail me and we can compare notes.

There are two sets of Blacets in the US. I believe both immigrated at different times. There is a Blacet family in Arizona that owns a company that makes Blacet modules for recording studios and keyboards etcetera. www.blacet.com

Then there is the Blacet family that came from Orleans France, circa early 1800's They settled in greenville illinois eventually.
