I'm at work do I don't have my records in front of me but your post might be related. I'll add additional information after I get home but for now:

My grandfather was born 05/25/25 in Kansas but moved shortly after to Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. His name is Ralph L. (no middle name, just the initial). He married Edith Zona Baber. The Baber's have history in El Paso County for over five generations but Zona's mother's family (Brace) is from Illinois.

My grandfather Ralph was born a twin to brother Roy or Ray. There is still some confusion in my family about his first name - the birth record shows one name but the family remembers him as the other. This son died at about four years old. I'm having a very hard time finding (obtaining?) the death record.

I'll post more later, but the Baber/Blazer names were similar as were the Roy and Colorado connections. This might not even be the same families - but I've been surprised where my questions have sent me!
