After I sent my last message I found your public tree on Ancestry and took a look at it. I figured the Thomas Irwin I found in 1963 might not be the right one since you seemed to have documented the 1946 death (what was your source for that?). Anyway, it seems like the trick here would be to get Madge's death cert (might mention her husband's name) and look for a marriage record for her to Bisher in Nebraska sometime between 1946 and her death. (I presume she'd have been Madge Irwin for that?) Unfortunately, I don't see those kinds of records online - would require contacting the state vital stats office I suppose. (Or have you done that already?)

It would be great if we can find the connection to the Bishers. We "collect" them. :-)
