I am looking for some information on a Robert Birrell, born abt 1783 in Haddington East Lothian. I believe his father's name may have been David, although that has not been confirmed.
I was also wondering if there was any good place to contact to find information on these sort of things over in Scotland, as I seem to have hit a dead end at the moment from my side of the world.
