Hello,

I am searching for a man named Arthur Biagas. I understand he is Creole, from Louisiana, and is anywhere from 50-70 years old. He ahs spent time in California, san Francisco and Los Angeles. If anyone has information about Arthur Biagas I would greatly appreciate it...He is family...I think.

Hi,

I know Arthur. The last I heard he was in San Francisco around 6th and Mission Streets.

Seriously! What does he look like? How long ago did you hear he was around that area? I'm still looking for him and info would help. How do you know him?

Not good news. Arthur has been a drug user for many many years and lives in that neighborhood among other addicts. It was some time last year that I heard from someone that he was living on the streets. When I met Arthur it was in the 80s and he was a fine, sexy Southern man. I do not know how he looks now. If I head to San Francisco in the next couple of weeks, I will take a few minutes and look and ask around.

He does not look great. Years of heroin and cocaine use take its toll. I used to have a relationship with him in the 80s when I was also addicted to drugs and living that life. I eventually and thankfully got out of that life but many, like Arthur, do not. I will say that I still to this day think about him with great fondness, in spite of our lifestyle.

It was several months ago that I heard from my ex brother law that he was around 6th and Mission Street in SF. That is an area where drug use is rampant and many are homeless.

I can't tell you any more than that. It is easy to become lost when you live that way. Now how you can find him, that is going to be difficult unless you come to San Francisco. I do not know if the City and County of SF has records for someone on general assistance or if SF's homeless mobile program has records.

Deborah

I actually live in San Francisco and I am a social worker, so I am very familiar with 6th and Mission the Tenderloin and the whole drug scene in and around the area. Maybe you know Peaches? (AkA Veronica Blake). She is my biological mother and informed my sister that Arthur is my biological father. His name is also on my birth certificate. I do not want to bring up the past for you in any way, but I thank you for the information you have provided me. At least I know that it may not be too late to find him. Thanks so much.

Sincerely,

Alicia Gray
P.S. you wouldn't happen to have a picture of him?

Well, well, right around the corner. First of all, I am so fine with my past. I have been sober for quite a few years and have a much different life. I can look back now and not stay there.

SInce you are in the City, look around and ask people. He was called "Red."

You know I may know your mother. I spent so much of my life chasing drugs and in and out of jails and prisons and hospitals.

I do hope you find your father no matter what you discover.

Stay in touch if you need to.
