Hi Karen,
I am hoping you are still at the same email address. I lost your email and would like to keep the lines of communication open.

Hi Melinda!
Talk about timing! I was just compiling my list of folks to notify of my upcoming e-mail address change. I don't have confirmation yet of what the e-mail address is going to be, but when I do, I'll let you know.
I am moving on Nov. 22 and that area is serviced by a different broadband vendor.
My new home address will be:
5151 Edloe, #10301, Houston, TX 77005
How have you been? Since we communicated last, I've had quite an interesting year. I was laid off from my job of 7 years the end of January. I was off for about 6 months and started working again the beginning of August. The time off was like a gift - now I'm ready for the next 20 years!
I pretty much confirmed where my biological father is living now. I haven't contacted him though. He is living in Melbourne, Florida. I thought about him during all those hurricanes though. Outside of that I haven't found anyone else. How about you?

I sent an email to your email address so that we don't have to post these on the boards, but I am putting my message in here so I don't "lose you again!"
Wow! what a nice surprise! I am still looking for lost family, but I wish I could do something to help you. Please, please don't hesitate to ask me anything. I may not have the answers, but I would love to help you in any way. You sound like you had a very interesting turn of events and luck in this last year. Is your job transferring you? or are you in Texas now? Now, did your biological father play any part in your life?
I am going to visit my daughter Colleen in California, where she lives, in two weeks. I know that Oma lived out there and at one time I had the name of the cemetery she was buried in. Do you know the name of it?
It is so nice to hear from you. I hope we can stay in touch. Thanks again. Melinda
