MEDINA, Ohio – Viola Angelot, 91, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at the Western Reserve Masonic Community, Medina, Ohio.
She was born on May 12, 1921, in Girard, Ohio (Trumbull County) to Graziano and Philomena (Bevilacqua) Graziosi.
Viola married Gerald Angelot and shared 64 years together.
During World War II she was employed at General Fireproofing, manufacturing wing tips.
Later Viola was employed as a cashier for Fisher Fazio Grocery Store.
She was a member of the Churchill United Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio for many years, before moving to Medina in January of 2011.
Viola is survived by her beloved husband; daughters, Diane (Kevin) Rose and Jeralyn (Roe) Hiett; grandchildren, Jason (Wendy) Kouvaras, Nicole (Steve) Wasosky, Ryan (Kayla Chessor) Cassidy, and Kyle (Hannah) Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Peyton, Autumn, Nathan and Kendall; and many nieces and nephews.
She was loved by all who knew her.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Andy, Aurora, Eleanor, Sam, Stella and Dominic.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Road in Medina.
