AKRON, Ohio – Theresa (Bevilacqua - Tomlin) Dalesandro, 78, formerly of Girard, died Saturday Oct. 13, 2012, at her residence.
Theresa was born June 12, 1934, in Girard, Ohio the daughter of the late Philomena and Joseph Lucilio.
She was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard.
Theresa had worked for Benada (Easco Alumium) and later, as a private duty nurse for 40 years.
She loved gardening and landscaping, cooking all her excellent Italian meals, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, John (Carlene) Bevilacqua of Girard, OH; daughters Christina Gavin of Akron, Phyllis (Jim) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Tami (Elliott) Moadus of Charlotte, N.C.; brother Nick Lucilio of North Canton; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded her in death by her husbands, Nicholas J. Bevilacqua and Elmer Tomlin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 a.m. at the Blackstone Funeral Home.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
