I have located the Selsingen Parish Records in the LDS archives and now am laborously searching the German records for my Allers family connections. I will keep a look oput for the Beutner surname since two of the Allers boys married two of the Beutner girls. Thay nay have closer ties in Germany. The Selsingen Parish covers towns about 10-15 km radius around in Neidersachen, south and east of present day Hamburgh in northern Germany.

These old records are pretty cool. Some recorders had beautifuly script writing, others look like they wrote with their toes!
