Henry Bertrand and Mary Sharp were married Jan 13, 1848 in Scioto County, Ohio and had 4 children.
Julia Bertrand born 1850, Isabella born 1853, Ohio born 1856, and son Young born June 1859.
Nancy Sharp married William H. Brainard On August 8, 1857 in Lawrence County, Ohio and had the following children:
Alice born 1850, Emma born 1861, Mary born 1865, Carrie born 1858, and Ruby born 1860.
In the 1880 Census both families are living in Massac County, Illinois with the Bertrand name misspelled. Henry and Mary appear there in the 1860 and 1870 censuses as well.
