My grandmother is Elva Catherine Bernard Stonebraker or Stonebreaker. I am not positive of the spelling right now. They lived in Kitzmiller Maryland which is near Backbone Mountain. Are you sure that it is Garrick County. There is a Garrett County in that direction. Tell me more about your Bernard's as I am stumped when is comes to my grandmothers side of the family.
