Here I am again and the search continues...I've been given a new lead to follow. I am now searching for info on my g-g-g-grandfather, James Benzie, b. bef. 1780, m. Jane Barr, 1804 in Glasgow. Jane Barr b. bef. 1780. Had 6 children, Catherine, Jean, Anne, James, another Ann(?), and Alexander. I am trying to trace the family to Aberdeen? No small feat!
