I'm researching a Hiram Galusha ATWOOD, b 1832 in VT. He married a Fidelia B Guilford, 1855 in VT. Fidelia Guilford was b 1833 in NY. Hiram and Fidelia removed to Newark, WI, in 1857, and remained there.

Fidelia Guilford is found in Lawrence, NY with James and Maria Galusha in 1850 (Census).... with a sister Sarah Guilford.

Was Maria Galusha, Fidelia and Sarah's mother from a previous marriage ?

When Fidelia Guilford married in 1855 (Brandon, VT), she is listed as Fidelia BENTLEY. Was she married to a Bentley, between 1850 and 1855 ? Was her middle name BENTLEY ? If so who was she named after ?

Fidelia's husband's middle name was Galusha.... What, if any, was the relationaship between the ATWOODs, BENTLEYs, GUILFORDs, and GALUSHAs ?
