My g grandfather, Hormidas Benoit born abt 1862 came to US abt 1870. He married Eugenie Goyette abt 1892. She was also French Canadian.

All children were born in Fall River, Mass except George A Benoit, born Feb 1, 1901 in Canada.

My mother can't remember the name of the town the Benoit's came from, just that it is just over the border.

If any of these names match with your family, or if any one can provide some additional info for me, I would very much appreciate it.

I have the birth/death records of the children I could locate on NEHGS and the 1910 & 1930 Mass census, but do not know much more about this line.
