Surnames: Benoit, Benway, Goshlaw.
The parents of David F. Benoit are Joseph B. Benway and Mary Adeline Goshlaw. Joseph was born about 1839 in Canada--French to Andrew Benway and Mary Adeline was born about 1837 in Canada-French to David and Julia Goshlaw.
On David Benoit's obit his father is listed as Bruneau B. Benoit, however on the birth record of his brother and one of his sisters the father's name is listed as Joseph Benway. Also on the 1870 Census it is listed as Joseph Benway and Joseph's father's name is also listed as Andrew Benway.
Do you know the birth date of David? I am also missing the death date of his wife. I also don't have any further information on David's brother and two sisters. other than I found the birth record for Lyman and Laura. Didn't find the birth record for David's sister Ester yet although on the 1870 census she was 8 months old.
